I am working on a unique mmo-experience.  More info and a chance to play the alpha very soon.

Things never change – things always change.

Computer works.  Yay.  May Project is like, Duke Nukem Morrowcrack or something.  Yay.

Oh damn.

May 6th, 2010

In a complete freak accident, just over 2 hours ago – A half gallon of water sloshed all over my iMac.  After a brief moment of horror I shut it down and dried it until now.  Seems to be working fine.  I hope it continues that way.  I’ll be completing a full backup tomorrow – if nothing else I hope it survives at least that long.

Pray for it, if anyone’s code of ethics allows for pray for computer.

Corngel.

May 4th, 2010

Not to overshadow my previous post, I can say no more about Corngel than what is on the description page.  I did not ‘write’ this ‘game’.  I only adapted it to the grayish screen.  Please, go and… play it.

May Project Ver 0.23

May Project (Early Build)

My progress in plumbing the veritable depths of the Unity development system (using engine to describe it might be passé) has been more rapid than I initially expected. Using a combination of old-school billboarding techniques and point n’ click charm: I’m going to adapt a vision.  One that, I’ve had for quite a long time.  The game will render out as a mildly simple experience, but the inner-workings will be fairly complex compared to most  of what classically exists within the realm of “video games”.  I have this feeling I am not unique in this department of late, with many of the popular indie (oxymoron? heh, no) titles displaying…

Early.

May 4th, 2010

I have to leave my house and head into the cold – just minutes from now.  But before I do this (to head to work, possibly through flooding) : let us conciser the following :  I am nearing completion of my May-Project engine.  In response I’ll soon place the first by-product of this creation here, (the smallish test stage) for all to enjoy.  Look for it in the next few days.

Have a good morning, all.

Seriously, what the fuuu…

What have I created?

WTF, indeed.

In some way – working on May Project has created this… this… I…

I’m sorry, world.

I will spurt demos from my veins.

May 1st, 2010

Soon, I will spurt incomplete (and mostly horrendous) works direct from the catacombs of my hard-drive.  I hope you will… enjoy?

Unity3d.

April 30th, 2010

While I will continue to labor away on the Über-secretive May Project, I have decided my needs have outgrown flash and I will be moving on to Unity. (A.K.A. Unity 3D)  I’m not, as of yet, fully sure this is the best plan – but it is the one I’ve gone with so here’s hoping it was a wise decision.  Now – to see if I can wrangle this 3D beast into the realm of only two dimensions…
